FOB2Y 9/4/08

Well I took the quiz here. I got 21 mistakes! I only had 11 until I got to the row of the Kid's Choice Colors. That's where I messed up the most. Oh well.
I was proud of myself until then.

Well I am trying out for the Elemental Scraps CT Call. It has now been narrowed down to 28 people. Guess what? I WAS ONE OF TH 28!!!!! Insert Happy Dork Dance here. For the 2nd round we had to make 2 lo's. One with a template provided by ChrissyW and one without a template. We were also given access to 2 of the AWESOME Mega Kits in the store.
Here is my 1st layout with the template. I used the Sweet Treats mega kit.

Yes these photos are of me when I was little. The pumpkin is Jennifer who used to live up the street from my grandma and the moth? is Richard who also grew up, up the street from my grandma. We were both supposed to be angels but someone put Richie's wings on upside-down so everyone started calling him a moth! That was a family joke.
Richard's dad actually passed away this week. Rest in Peace Big Griff.

For the 2nd non-template one, I used the Requiem mega kit. I also did an extraction and my very 1st blending on this layout so I am kinda proud of it.

That is his barber Rashid. He has been going to him him for a couple of years now. I love that I don't have to explain how I want his hair cut every time we go. Hehe.

My dad's(sperm donor) father passed away this past week. I am sorry I didn't go to see him before he passed. Unfortunately I don't have very many memories of him. I am not close to that part of my family. Thanks to the donor.
